E-Commerce Coordinator

Summary

The E-commerce Coordinator is responsible for assisting a fast growing and dynamic e-commerce department in continued growth of online sales for an exciting and ever-expanding portfolio consisting of wine, merchandise, events, and experiences. They will be instrumental in helping to create and maintain a world-class online experience through maintenance of our many websites, communication channels and associated databases. Coordinate with many departments to strategically place and promote our extensive and diverse offerings, engage customers, and drive sales to all Consumer-Direct channels, including E-commerce, Wine Club and Guest Experience Centers. The E-commerce Coordinator will support the E-commerce Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and current database of e-commerce products and promotions:
•  Timely facilitation of online product setup, removal, and updates
•  Maintain a stringent QC schedule to ensure products on our websites are always updated and available
•  Assist with maintaining our tiered promotional infrastructure and setup of our special e-commerce promotions

Coordinate and facilitate e-commerce deployment of wine club releases:
•  Coordinate with the Wine Club Team to identify products, dates, and deadlines associated with releases
•  Coordinate with our Marketing Team to obtain assets needed to setup products, landing pages and e-commerce communications, including email and SMS
•  Maintain, analyze, import, and segment member data to facilitate communications

Coordinate and facilitate general web updates, events, and experiences:
•  Coordinate with Guest Experience Centers and Marketing Teams as needed to obtain assets/information to create landing pages and e-commerce campaigns to promote events, experiences and facilitate general web updates
•  Maintain calendars to help identify possible scheduling conflicts and areas of opportunity

Assist the e-commerce team with development, execution, and maintenance of e-commerce campaigns:
•  Perform regular QC checks on web pages, email, and SMS campaigns
•  Assist with maintaining e-commerce assets and analytics databases
•  Contribute e-commerce campaign ideas and assist with data and industry analysis to help identify weaknesses and areas of opportunity to strategically plan, deploy and measure e-commerce campaigns

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•  Must be a team player, with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a passion for E-commerce and the Wine Industry
•  Resourceful, possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve and adapt easily to new software and projects
•  High attention to detail and standards, with an ability to replicate projects and maintain records
•  Strong time management, organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Must have copywriting and copy-editing skills
•  Must have intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills

Experience and Qualifications

•  2+ years related work experience in an E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Web-related Role
•  Wine Industry experience will be a considerable plus Bachelor’s or Technical Degree preferred
•  Bachelor’s or Technical Degree preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience:
•  HTML and CSS skills will enable the E-Commerce Coordinator to adapt and succeed most easily
•  Graphic design skills: this role requires light graphics work using photoshop. The E-Commerce Coordinator will be trained, but additional skills are desired.
•  Experience with Salesforce Commerce and Marketing Cloud, WineDirect, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and Monday.com
