Grove Mill Sauvignon Blanc is produced at the estate winery in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, where we’ve been making wine with as much thought for our environment as wine excellence for over 30 years. From the very beginning we’ve looked beyond our winery and vineyards, taking practical steps to carry our legacy of sustainability into the future. We nurture the thriving wetlands we’ve established near the winery that has become home to a diversity of native flora and fauna.
We put the same painstaking care into our winemaking. We harvest our grapes during the cold of the night to avoid unnecessary phenolic extraction and to preserve primary fruit. This, combined with gentle winemaking techniques, protect the bright fruit characters for which Marlborough’s Wairau Valley is famous and encourage the development of great texture and richness in our acclaimed Sauvignon Blanc.
